Just over an hour from Cape Town by car is the Langebaan Golf & Country Estate, Cape West Coast. This 18-hole seaside South African golf resort has a beautiful position overlooking the lagoon where golfers follow the challenging fairways and enjoy the stunning setting.

The Langebaan Golf & Country Estate, Cape West Coast does in fact have a unique 19th hole. The course has been re-vamped by a Gary Player company called Black Knight creating a satisfying golfing experience with an attractive water feature that incorporates the green for the 19th hole. Guests are encouraged to try this fun challenge which raises funds for various upliftment programmes in the local community.

Langebaan is a brilliant destination on the beautiful Cape West Coast. The quaint town lies along the Langebaan Lagoon and overlooks the West Coast National Park with its magnificent floral kingdom, wildlife and pristine beaches. For visitors travelling by car from Cape Town, Ellefsen Golf Suites, Langebaan Country Estate is approximately 120km (75 miles) north of Cape Town: From central Cape Town, Take the N1 highway, then R27 (Paarden Eiland turnoff), north, direction West Coast. After about 120km (75 miles) from Cape Town, turn off left to Langebaan (there is an Engen petrol service station on the left just before the turnoff). A further 6km (4 miles) brings you into the main road, Oostewal Street, in Langebaan. The gates to the Langebaan Golf & Country Estate are on the left hand side. Continue past the main gate for a further 500 metres. Turn first left and see the security entrance 50 metres further on.
